Wearable Art

Wearable Art

Extraordinary THC Hawaiian Textiles bark weave – probably cotton, maybe some acrylic – 1960’s. When I first saw it in my mothers stash of fabrics, I thought ‘how hideous!’ And then I fell in love. This is a work of art, not only from an illustrative perspective, but the ballsy (if not slightly frightening) color choices and incredible feat of screen printing. Someday, it will be framed.
